The booking fees must cover all of Trix’s traveling and office-supply expenses.
Traveling expenses include the following:
1) flight & luggage fees (Keep in mind that flight fares have been increasing.)
3) meeting room rental
4) duplication (copies),
5) RID Ceus
6) airport parking
7) transportation to and from the airport/venues, and
8) other (miscellaneous expenses).
Please kindly consider setting the registration fees high enough to meet expenses. If you have fewer than 10 participants signing up 30 days before a workshop date, the event will be automatically cancelled and/0r must be rescheduled. Trix will send the checks back to you. At least 20 paying participants must attend in order to cover everything.
Due to the cost associated with making copies and traveling arrangements, no refunds are available within three weeks of the workshop. If a group of participants are covered on one check, no individual refunds are available. Registration payments are not refundable.
School Paperwork Fee: When a school or organization asks for paperwork such as a W-9, an invoice, or a receipt), this must be processed through a professional (such as a CPA) and I get charged for this; thus, there may be a processing/document fee that your school or organization will need to cover.

Rather than having a student discount, we encourage you to ask your interpreter agency to sponsor you! Maybe you could do fund raising with your ASL Club that would cover your registration fees. Also, you could always ask your parents to support your career dreams!
